I like bagley better immonen like sketchs in essential spider-man it sucks

  • WrenchNinja:

Essential Spider-Man is the only excellent Spider-Man book out right now. Okay…that’s not right, there’s also Marvel Adventures Spider-Man and Spider-Man Likes Mary Jane. Still, USM is probably the best.

  • TriggerHappyD:

normally they only have like, a page or two at the back for ads, sorry :P . but they shouldnt have anymore than that :O

  • LilM0:

I loved Essential Spidey. Venom was a beast! XD

I reckon I’ll try out out Drafted, thanks for the review guys. :)

  • Jugglingdude:

I’m high and mighty this is sarcasm?

  • Jugglingdude:

    Indeed!

  • deraickripper:

    r.i.p.!!

  • Yankeemetfan06:

Pete, writers write for the trades in this day and age. Accept it.

  • comicbookfanboy:

Hard knocks Aunt May! I like it!

  • PeteSandusky:

Another fantastic show. Can’t wait to hear what you thought of Umbrella Academy Dallas #1.

  • pinealrapture:

Seriously, you guys are the rock in the crown of comic book web shows. I may possibly not live without you. Why the f*ck do you not figure any of the Warren Ellis goose chases?

  • spdrwrtr:

    WOW, that Venom looks terrible-ass!

  • Xhumation:

    Fantastic show you guys.

Also congrats on being the first of my suscribed channels to really implemented the widescreen format.

  • PeteCBC:

Comics are cheaper, but trades are cheaper in the long run, like export in bulk. If I don’t like a comic I don’t buy the next one, but a trade in more of an investment. I don’t like writing for a trade because I reckon you should write for each comic, make each comic fantastic.

  • PeteCBC:

Individual comics are small and fun. Trades have stuff added and taken away. It is too much of a stanchness plus, the last couple of pages of a trade you can’t open all the way because you will hurt the spine. I like comics because I can read a small bit and them jump into a different world (another comic). Then when I go back it is a fresh start.

  • mrDC300:

you guys get to read comics early?

  • prodigy00073:

Fantastic show as usual guys. I’ve been so sick of Aunt May’s character in ASM for in this area the last… well decade. Thank GOD for essential Spider-Man, Aunt Mays finally an fascinating character again.

    @Kixdirtsevin

A trade is when all the issues of a certain tale arc are place together and published. Some people prefer to read comics in a trade because they get the full tale at once instead of segments each month.

  • kixdirtsevin:

ok.. i have a few X-MEN civil war books the ads, inside the cover have spider man civil war and so on.. it reads marvel visual novels, but you are saying this is a trade am i ill-treat???

  • Leedster618:

Hey Guys, I have a question:

Have any of you ever used the Marvel Digital Comics Service? I reckon its $4.99 a month? Do you get to see new issues when they come out or is it an archive of older issues? I may possibly see this as being a really cool way to see classic runs that aren’t in print without torrent-ing them. Any thoughts/reviews?

  • angeltread:

plus you get 6 or more issues in one sitting, and usually the whole tale arc… lots of times i find reading a release comic unsatisfiing cause i want to know what happens next. plus when reading a release comic i find that i really have to try and remember what happened from a month earlier in the former issue.

  • TriggerHappyD:

Trades are in the end collections of the run, like in volumes or tale arcs.

They’re better in that they don’t have ads, and they’re much cheaper, but unfortunately, you gotta stand the lag it takes for the trades to come out.

Personally I prefer trades because I’m cheap and despise ads. XD

  • subfighter316:

Justin has a thing for much older women. haha

  • kixdirtsevin:

  • atari1777:
