I wish we would. We spent trillions and we have some rocks from the moon. Wow.
Now HERE’s one thing I reckon the government should get its paws out of: the space programs!
Innovations in the space programs and nuclear technology is what made America the dominant country it is today. There is no way we should stop raising the bar on things like this. It is as if we are all conceding that we are not the leader of new technology and we are sitting back waiting for the rest of world to bump up and surpass us. I can know stopping due to budgetary reasons, but there are plenty of additional programs out there to cut back before we completely end the space program.
Rhoda: GPS, weather satellites, live television and buzz calls from around the world, warning of solar flares that can ruin the power grid, satellite imaging of Earth for resource management, and on, and on, and on.
